It takes a bit of time to get used to the breaking, its really challenging to make a perfectly stop at a station. The actual main reason I bought this game was because they just released the editor. Excellent physics, controls, authentic sounds, and a nicely detailed final report of your journey. The game has a certain charm about it. The gentle swaying of the cabin as you rumble on by the countryside makes you 'feel' like you are indeed in control of a slightly rickety classic diesel train.Sound effects are so immersive too. From the stress of engine under load, brake squealing, and the shifting between tracks. It all plays out well.There a nice variety of scenarios for those in need of a quick fix or some really drawn out long stretches if you are willing to pace it out. At the end of the run you get a breakdown of your performace. This is one of the draws of the game because it steers your towards improving your weak points.Sure there is lot of missing variety in the scenarios and there are plenty of improvements that can be bought into the game. However, right now the game is very light on resources which a good thing for lower-spec PC owners.Worth a mention to is the developer who is very responsive and open to ideas and suggestions.Bottom line ... take it for a spin. The charm might just rub off on you too.. This realistic train simulator can be really fun, even for beginners.The controls aren't too difficult and I think it's relaxing to play this game.I can't wait for the updates!. Highly recommended *****Purchased DRS on itch.io last year and never regret spending the money.For a small developer, I find the quality of DRS as good as anything out there.It may not be a monster like Train Simulator, TSW or as hardcore as Run8 but you get what is advertisted and it is fun.
